There was this super cozy “basin” if you could call it that, where a 2-storey deep rectangular quarry was carved out of the ground, creating this open-to-above sanctuary with shops, restaurants, and other small areas to sit down and rest. Two sets of stairs led in and out of it on both ends. In the very middle of it was some other tall building with bridges that led to the second floor. I think there was a shrine in that central building too, can’t remember.

There was this brand of milk tea shops called 翠翠茶 (Cuicui Cha) there, which as far as I can tell—from my 5 minutes of research—doesn’t even have a website. But it was a very refreshing drink. No clue what tea it was, but they topped it with some milk and some cream and some crushed nuts of some kind I think? It was really good!

Anyway, very cool space.
